RAW ROOTs - Tightening spray - Summer Moon

RAW ROOT's Tightening Spray contains aloe vera and sea salt which gives texture to the hair, so it feels like after a day at the sea. Use it for the production or maintenance (eg tightening) of dreadlocks and reduces the amount of loose, frizzy hair.

When you palm roller with tightening spray, loose flyaway hair is tamed and dreadlock processes are intensified so that the new dreadlocks mature faster.

(RAW ROOT's tightening spray can also be easily used just like an ordinary salt water spray to give hold to the hair, e.g. if you have partial dreads and your un-dreaded hair needs a little volume.)

Natural ingredients

The mixture of organic Aloe vera and sea salt works as a natural tightening of loose hair on dreadlocks and makes them less fluffy.

Organic green tea and nettle boost your hair with antioxidants and provide nourishment so that your hair does not suffer damage during the dreadlock process.

Aloe vera has been used for centuries by tribal people and Rastafarians to tighten dreadlocks, and with its nurturing properties it protects and maintains hair and dreadlocks optimally.

This product is water soluble and residue free, which means it will wash out completely when you shampoo your hair.

How to use:  Ensure to shake before application. Apply the tightening spray onto freshly washed hair when creating new dreadlocks or onto clean dreadlocks. Allow the hair to air dry or use a hair dryer before commencing the dreading or palm-rolling process if using it for maintenance. If you don't have dreadlocks, apply RAW ROOT's tightening spray as you would a typical saltwater spray. Note: In case of syringe clogging, rinse it under warm water.

RAW ROOTs is a range of organic care products for dreadlocks. Some of these products are certainly also suitable for regular hair with low-poo methods (shampoo without residue), for taking care of dry hair (also for non-dreads) and for washing the body.

These high quality products are hand made by Lisa. She has work experience as a hairdresser and that has learned her a lot about hair and scalp. Furthermore she has followed some courses in herbalism and studied the healing properties of plants for medicinal applications and cosmetic use. 
She says that there are more then enough plants with advantages for hair and skin, and that it is way better to use these as ingrediënts instead of their synthetic, usually harmfull substitutes.
Lisa lives in the midst of nature in a self-built house made of recycled materials. That's where she produces her own handmade products.

Ze volgde verder nog opleidingen in kruidenleer en bestudeerde hun eigenschappen voor medicinale toepassingen en cosmetisch gebruik. Ze stelt dat er meer dan voldoende planten zijn met fantastische eigenschappen voor huid en haar, en dat we veel beter deze bestanddelen kunnen gebruiken dan hun synthetische, meestal schadelijke vervangers.
Lisa woont tenmidden van de natuur in een zelfgebouwd huis, gemaakt van gerecycleerde materialen. Daar maakt ze ook al haar producten.
